Juice Fast Update

I’ve made it to Day 5 and this would be my last day of juicing. Although I initially planned to juice for an entire week as I said in my first post, it’s very hard to meet project deadlines without eating anything solid! But I’m happy to report that I met my goal of losing at least 8 pounds by pure juicing. I lost that much! Yey!

Here are the numbers:
Starting Weight: 154 lbs.
Day 1 Loss: 4 lbs.
Day 2 Loss: 0 lbs.
Day 3 Loss: 2 lbs.
Day 4 Loss: 2 lbs.
Day 5 Current Weight: 146 lbs.
Total weight lost: 8 lbs!

I know most of what I lost was probably just water and not fat but I certainly lost a few inches around my stomach. More importantly, I flushed my body with plenty of good stuff. For the next weeks, I plan to continue eating healthy AND exercising more. No getting around it! I still have 26 lbs to lose to get to my ideal weight of 120 lbs, which is within the normal range for my height (I’m only 5’2″!). I’ll try to post updates about this goal every week or so. In the meantime, I wish everyone a blessed and healthy 2014! 🙂 Cheers!


Update as of Dec 31st: I weighed the morning after Day 5 and I lost another 2 lbs! Total Weight Lost: 10 lbs; Current Weight: 144 lbs — GOAL ACHIEVED!
